Oldham Primary Care Trust and Community 1st Oldham, the Oldham LIFT (Local Improvement Finance Trust), have been working with Oldham College students over the last year on an exciting live project which has given visual arts students the opportunity to create the graphic identity to support the signage strategy for the flagship town centre Integrated Care Centre development currently under construction.

The photographic project recognises the often forgotten beautiful local natural environments in and around the Oldham borough and through the use of photographic imagery and different colours aims to bring the natural environment into an urban setting.

As only six pieces of work can be used in the final building, this is your chance to vote for your favorite image. As well as on this website the pictures will be displayed at various Festival of Diversity events throughout the Summer.

Please take the time to read and learn a little bit about this exciting project and what we have been looking for to arrive at this shortlist, click here.

The favourite images will be announced at a special event to be confirmed.

The winning images taken locally in and around the Oldham area will make the state-of-the-art new Integrated Care Centre an even more welcoming place for local people to access health care services.

Oldham Primary Care Trust and Community 1st Oldham are proud to be investing in such a high calibre of local talent.

The exciting and innovative ‘Creative Wayfinding’ project has been possible due to the funding provided by Oldham Primary Care Trust and Community 1st Oldham Limited.

Many thanks to the additional sponsorship provided by Carillion and dac architects the construction partner and architectural practice working on the town centre, Integrated Care Centre development.
