Peacemaker Community Film Screening  

As a taste of things to come Peacemaker present this Festival warm-up event.

The evening will showcase films made by three local community groups and

bring the groups together to share the final celebration of the work.

Sport for Sport's Sake  

The Sport for Sport's Sake exhibition features portraits by photographer Paul Floyd Blake that capture amateur sportspeople of all ages. From showjumping to fell running via football and lacrosse, a vast range of enthusiasms are captured. Coinciding with the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing, Paul Floyd Blake is also photographing some of the young hopefuls aiming to be at the London 2012 games and a selection of these portraits will be on show for the first time.

Oldham Family Mela  

A fabulous fun day out in the spectacular surroundings of Alexandra Park, one of the countries best examples of regenerated public green spaces. Music, food, fashion, stalls, displays and special family space. The event organisers promise there will be something for everyone.

Leesbrook Family Fun Day  

A family day out with lots to do all day with a special environmental theme. Watch out for the featured duck race at 3pm, your duck could win a prize!

Take part in games,crafts, activities and PONY RIDES. Bring along a smile, a bit of cash for refreshments and activities and make sure you wear clothing and footwear that allows you to take part in the activities on offer.

Hollinwood Together Festival  

The event brings together communities of Hollinwood to put on a fun packed day for local residents and the whole of Oldham. The event starts with a church

service celebrating diversity at St Margarets Church, Chapel Road. Then a procession from the church, involving local groups young and old from all around Hollinwood, will head to Limeside Park, First Avenue to start a fun packed afternoon of activity and events, Music, funfair rides, facepainting and much more. Why not join in the fun!
